You must think I am stone cold
To turn a blind eye to the past.
But I have my future to hold,
Set free from what did not last.
For sure enough time was given,
To make up the due amends,
But sadly, it leaves one so broken
When the other refuses to mend.
And so it is but Presumption
When you ask me to take it all back,
And to pray for Reconciliation
Shows the Perception that you lack.
It's like asking me to live as Dead,
To exist and accept this dilemma.
You don't know the Pain roads I tread -
Of the suffering...
You have no idea.
