Sounds droning
All around
Background fades
Darkness bound

Shadows move
Within the night
Sadness calls
Tears from my eyes

X marks the spot
Where my heart
Was cut out
Where I bleed

A line runs across
In a little pattern
A stabbing pain
Sobs like rain

Broken hearts
Ending thoughts
Giving up
Throwing it all away

Taking my life
No more shame
Make my mark
Upon this world

Close my eyes
For the last time
Eyes glaze over
Heart beats fade

Breathing ends
Soul leaves
Body lifeless
No longer me
