I remembered a friend once
who tried to end his life
for numerous times—
tree hanging, pills over-dosed,
wrist slashing and poison drinking
amazingly he still alive

Many people wanted to live
and find ways to extend some more
ask someone dying from cancer
or a terminal ill patient
what they wanted the most
life is worth living for them all

What was wrong with my friend
his attitude towards living
I remind him always this reality
hold on it my dear friend
for life is still worth existing
there's a purpose no matter what

Are you in that same shoes
life is extremely difficult these days
that's the whole truth my friend
but there's always a way out
talk with somebody about this
and you will find the needed light
