No Need For Someone Else Poem by Ray Hansell

No Need For Someone Else

As I walk through this life of mine
I don’t need anyone here with me
To some loneliness is hard to bear
I know I’m strong enough to go it alone
I’m not the kind who needs someone there

I’m sure it’s nice to have someone
To tell you how much they care
Because when burdens trouble you
For some it’s nice to have someone there

So many years I’ve been alone
To be honest, I like it this way
I never throw a pity party
I just live from day to day

Some people may say that’s not living
It’s just existing day to day
To them I would reply this way
I’ll live my life my way you live life your way

In the loneliness of dreams there is space to play. In an ultimate way... aren't we all alone! Interesting perspective.-Baru Gobira
