No One Lasts Not Once They Have Seen Behind The Mask-3 Poem by Scarlet .....

the real person
the one behind the mask
the mask in the act
wishes
wishes it could just be that person
be that mask
the one in the act
for it is so normal
for some people even talk to that mask
not many but still some
for the real person only has one
only one person who has survived seeing behind the mask
for most run
run so fast it is as if they just vanish
'pouf' that person is all alone again
that person fears
fears that if she shows those few who talk with the mask what will happen?
will they run like most
leaving her with only that one
for she doesn't want lose what the mask has worked so hard to find
for even though they don't know the real person
they are still friends with the mask
and the mask is on the real person
so they are close
close to being friends
as close as it shall get for they real person
for she wonders
was she just meant to be alone
for that is what it seems
except for that one exception
will there be more exceptions
or is this a one time thing?
will she remain
one person
one mask
or will her wish come true
will she become the mask
or will she lose the mask
for that would be even better
as long as those who knew that mask
like the person
and will stay with the person
