No Other But He - Poem by Mary Roach
stand strong, lift forth your ear to me
take cover and shield your weary eyes
no other can lift you up but He
for men can feel the lost one’s plea
through deceit, mistakes, and lies
stand strong lift forth your ear to me
the lonely ones duck down to flee
vision clouded from the darkened skies
no other can lift you up but He
fall to the ground, raise your hands and see
shadow yourself from the worlds demise
stand strong, lift forth your ear to me
not only deny Him once but three
becoming someone you despise
no other can lift you up but He
forgiveness shall always come to thee
even as He hangs and dies
stand strong, lift forth your ear to me
no other can lift you up but He
