No Patching Up Here Poem by Royston Allen

No Patching Up Here

Rating: 4.0

Patching up the old is not Jesus' way.
Old and new together will only fray.
Jesus said, 'Behold I make all things new'
and these tattered garments just will not do.

Each one dressed in new raiment's not his own
worshiping the Lord seated on His throne.
New creatures in Christ we have all become
standing with Him in our heavenly home.

With robes of righteousness clean and white
we all gather there a wondrous sight.
The church adorned all radiant and fair
as a bride with her Bridegroom standing there.
