No Scene To Delight Poem by Mehta Hasmukh Amathaal

No Scene To Delight

The cobras are deadly and poisonous
But their nature is known and remains famous
We know in advance about deadly result
So it is called misadventure and fear is in built

People are compared to
With such quality that is true
In strangers or even known friends
As it may really reveal at the end

They venture only in night
And prefer to remain out of sight
Human beings are known enemies
But they have their own strategies

They harm no one except when threatened
Their action is hastened
When we annoy or irritate
They search for food and presence is stated

They are friendly to nature
Many unwanted insects are taken care
Swallowed silently in dead night
So it adds to scare with no scene to delight
