No Solution In Sight Poem by Mehta Hasmukh Amathaal

No Solution In Sight

No solution in sight

I close the eyes
And silently try
To sleep with lots of pain
But worry still remains

I think about the plight
In some of the countries they fight
For survival and identity
We have nothing but to feel pity

Their own countrymen kill them mercilessly
Force them to flee continuously
Women are raped in open
Children are killed even

Why such things take place?
Why relentless crusade to wipe out the races?
Who is behind such drive?
Some we are not in position to believe

One class has come forward
Terrorists no sympathy for words
They have their own code of conduct
They are hell bent to induct their ethics

Large numbers of people are fleeing
Leave behind all their valuables and saving
Still there is no solution in sight
There is blood everywhere and street fight
