No String Attached Poem by Nassy Fesharaki

No String Attached

No string attached

Parallel the lines
-Track to nowhere-ness
-to end in the lips
-of pliers, nutcracker
-claiming:
-"No string is attached! "

The witch's broom
-a bridge to cross…
-to a hell full of lies…

No magnet
-for Einstein

Comes to light
-Sophocles' triage
-on stage…
-of the day and the night
-cupid…

Antigone
-Jean Paul Sartre
-meeting Che
-Nihilism sees "No time! "

Unaware is the witch
-riding her string

Blossom the cherries
-Toronto's
-Fix beer being served
-in Athens…

And she rides string
-To end of nowhere-ness

Caught, stuck he is in
-a hellish pliers
-of the lies, of claims
-of ‘no string is attached'
-day to night, bipolar
