No Tales; No Lessons Poem by John Paul Sam Nkwain

No Tales; No Lessons

Rating: 4.8

If only the Deceased Could Resuscitate
Then shall we learn not to dare
If only the lion could talk
Then shall we learn not to dare

If we had known
Then we'd not be smitten
If we had known
Then we'd not be wobbly epileptic in style

You still got a lease of rollicking time.
Tell the tales even to you fun mates
Don't forget the old adage
'Dead men tell no tales'
And
No tales; No Lessons

Beautiful piece of poetry, well articulated and nicely penned in good diction with conviction. An insightful poem elegantly brought forth. Thanks for sharing Nkwain. Please read my poem MANDELA - THE IMMORTAL ICON.
