Watch the wrist
That inclines to insist
For time to observe
And need to serve
Yes, there was time
The watch showed sometimes
Richness of person
With valid reasons
Gold chain in neck
And watch on wrist were not at stake
But simple claim to look
Elegant with style
Now time has changed
Elders still manage
With sun’s movement
And accurately tell about the time spent
“I have no watch” simple answer
We used to hear from many people
As it showed some luxury
When people may be rushing for work in hurry
It takes me back
To look into initial stage
Where we lived with no facility
Yet time was spent with best utility
No watch was a luxury because time was not an influence on thier lives Steven Gress10 minutes ago Great write, thoroughly enjoyed the poem. Comment +1
