As the twilight of breath fades into the unseen,
I stand at the threshold where echoes convene,
faces once near now drift like mist,
vanishing dreams in fate's gentle twist.
I called for my love, for blood and for kin,
for voices that once lived deep within,
yet silence replied with a hush so vast,
a river of absence, a shadow cast.
Where are the hands that once held mine?
The laughter, the tears, the sacred sign?
All like a dream dissolving in light,
unbound from time, lost to sight,
and now I see, with eyes unchained,
you, my God, in the stillness remain.
No voice is needed, no step is heard,
you are the presence beyond the word,
Iet me dissolve like the dew in the sun,
merge with the One where all has begun,
no self, no sorrow, no fear, no name,
only the flicker is returning to flame,
beyond the veil where silence sings,
where nothing departs, where eternity clings,
take me, my God, where no shadows fall,
into the vastness, the One, the All...
