Nocturnal Kissing

it's said that
when night rises
birds are headless
trees start to walk
towards each other
for nocturnal kissing

but in my case
i somehow lose
the transparency
of the nearness
to my skin
used to be pinned
up to the earth
by a needling pine

although we creep
under each other's skin
it seems to be true
that we are predestined
to be lonely
the story of our alienation
goes back to the era
when we were not even
on the mind of the universe

my voice is fed up
with me, running away
taking shelter in silence
i am just wondering
how could embark
upon a journey
when even the path
doesn't want to
walk under my feet

but Before
the stars drain
i should come back
to declare my love for life
like those nocturnal kissers
