Nocturnal Love Poem by Angelica Ortiz

Nocturnal Love

You’re sleeping far away
And I stay up building our nocturnal love-mobile.

Tomorrow we will test drive it
And drive it into a different dimension,
Traveling to the unknown...
Shall we return?
I can see your eyes squinting,
Peeking at my work.

You make me chuckle,
Pretending to be asleep.

I'm just as anxious as you are,
To take this baby off into the oblivion
And discovering our new venturous place.

...

We will not return.

We will not say a word.

We will not leave any tracks behind us.

We will not plan on where exactly these roads will lead us.

Stay up with me,
For this is our nocturnal love,

Miss Little Cream Soda

I like this poem Angelica I envision a long line of young men anxiously waiting to take you and your vehicle for a test drive
