None Supported Me As A Writer Poem by Bijay Kant Dubey

Though I've been for quite a long time,
But none supported me,
Be he a poet, a professor,
A critic, a reviewer
Or a reporter.

Once I read my poetry before
The the Divisional Commissioner, the Deputy Commissioner,
The Superintendent of Police,
Additional S.Ps. and I.A.S. officers,
The District Judge
And other executive magistrates
And reporters and correspondents
Sitting as guests
At the District Board House,
But none of the newsmen
Reported it.
