Norma May Poem by Tessa Marsland Pettigrove

Norma May

Nan. 10/11/2008
I lay awake at night,
I think of you.
I try so hard to sleep tight,
As I know people tell the truth.
I feel like I have no one,
I feel loved when I see your face in the sun.
No one can replace how I feel now that you’re gone,
Our love for you will always be this strong.
I miss you more each night,
I also know that everything will be alright.
I keep my tears locked up inside,
As I can feel the pride,
As I call, Nan.
You are everything to me,
And always will be.
I hope you remember me,
As I remember you.
It’s like nothing can be,
Ever so true.
Always know that we care,
As you watch us from up there.
We all miss you,
We all love you,
We all think of you.
Most of all you are the most amazing person that anyone could have meet.
We Love you Nan.
May you rest in peace.
