She's Gone Poem by Tessa Marsland Pettigrove

She's Gone

The last night we saw eachother,
was a rather cold one.
We always had so much fun together,
i miss you a ton.

You're the one I couldn't live without,
everything about you just made me laugh.
Now i'm just wondering about,
like possums in a bath.

It hurts deep down,
to know that you are gone.
I was your clown,
and now all I can do is write a song.

I am glad I got the chance to meet you,
to be mates.
I'll miss those little things you do,
even if we moved crates.

You're like an older sister to me,
I can't believe that this is happening.
Just that way I wanted it to be,
But meeting you was a blessing.

This is dedicated to my dearest friend Kim,
who moved up to Canberra and will be missed very muchly.
