Deep in the frost of my solitude
I gather the cold to numb the pain
Laying in the icy waters
Hear the drumming of pouring rain
The woods are ready to touch the sky
The northern lights to sway in the dance
A calming wave washes over me
The sweet emotion leaves in a trance
By the northern star my home is calling
Where the wolves still howl with love for the moon
The purest fjords on the farthest horizon
May northern comfort be coming soon
By the crust of snow I put all worries away
As the ravens fly to guide me way
Lost in nowhere that feels close to heart
May northern comfort never fade away
In the land of the midnight sun
Sweet haven has now become
Hearing the call of the wild hearts
In the light of day and the starlit dark
Frozen ground among the towering trees
Whispering winds welcome me home
As I break the surface of the chilling water
To become one with the great white north
