Nostalgia Poem by Dipankar Sadhukhan

Nostalgia

I am so curious to know
Whether you still possess
The same heart as you did in the past
When we'd spent hours in happiness.

Do you still gaze at the sky
Sitting by the window of your heart
When the showers of rain
Fall on the thirsty earth?

I am restless to know
Whether you've changed your mind
Or you charm all with your smile
As you did in the past time.

Do you still spend hours
Sitting by the fire place
When you feel so cold
In winter's days?

I'm eager to know if you spend hours
Sitting on the bank of the river
Where once we would spend
The blissful moments together.

Do you still dream of me at night
As you used to do in the past time?
Do the sweet memories of our love
Knock at the door of your heart every time?
