I never shed a tear at the news of any wealthy celebrity who does die
If i said that i did this would be a lie
At the loss of a dear friend i would only shed tears
One i have known and loved for many years
People make small gods of every celebrated multi millionaire
Who of their existence are not even aware
I am not a fan of celebrities my loyalties are elsewhere
With the poor and down trod of the World out there
The impressionable make heroines and heroes of the privileged few
And this is not saying anything that is new
There are millions of their sort in the Human World of today
Celebrity worship is with us to stay
At the death of any celebrity i never feel moved to tears
Only at the passing of a dear friend that i have known for years.
