Not All Have Windmills To Tilt Poem by Terence George Craddock

Not All Have Windmills To Tilt

who can find a windmill to tilt
in a land without windmills
not all have a suit of armour
and horse for windmill tilting
with windmill tilting
aim must be so high
windmills reach to the sky
wheel turns from earth to sky

then pilgrimage to amusement park
stay grounded tilt a Ferris Wheel
pick round and round riders to tilt at
such stories are silly watching wheel
turning makes ardent tilter dizzy
in reality this behaviour is stupidity

if you do not like
the Ferris Wheel
get of the ride

some may love pudding
others prefer well cooked meat
diversity in choice is neat

some drink only milk or water
others only vegetables will eat
we all make life choices

stage what we seek
in a world of brutalities
a lesser potion is served to the meek

rules make some slaves others brave
but a good life ointment is gifted
in the caring kindness hand that saves
