Not Anymore Poem by Marcquiese Burrell

Not Anymore

You've made the wrong decision
One down the line you'll later regret
then you will find a reason
after you had enough time to reflect
The grass was much greener
Guess you really don't need me now
until you'll soon discover
what we had before can't be recovered

When you change your mind, it'll be too late
I lost a few pounds, you were the dead weight
So when you find yourself alone
Don't try calling my phone
when I told you all along
believe me I wasn't playing
from here Things would start decaying
you have suddenly discovered
what we had before can't be recovered

funny how you could never believe
that there would ever be a time
when I'd up and leave you
honey I would never try and deceive
you to think that things are fine
when that is not true
anytime that you were in need
remember who was there to relieve you
bet, you're thinking now
how bad you screwed up
because I won't
see you again, not anymore
