Two people stand,
A boy and a girl.
She holds his hand,
Exchanging words.
Tears fall from her eyes,
Desperately holding onto her life.
He turns and their love dies.
head-in-hands her knees collide.
From the ground she hears his voice,
Pain and anger flowing strong.
He tells her that she had a choice,
But it was too hard to make.
He won’t look back,
won’t take a glance.
It wasn’t love he lacked,
For that he had.
who is to blame?
Their pain is real.
If love is a game,
Then who will win?
So many emotions to feel,
Fighting, screaming, kissing, holding.
How can two people deal,
When all the end is pain?
Two people stand,
A boy and a girl.
She holds his hand,
Exchanging words.
