Not As You Appear Poem by Tyra Falconwing

Not As You Appear

Rating: 0.5

You see the world in shades of gray
You ignore the world from day to day
You have no soul
Your heart has a hole

Your heart is like ice
You don’t even try to be nice
You don’t know how to feel
You don’t know what is real

You can’t be weak
You gotta be strong
You don’t know if you can hold on
Before the world slips through you hand
Just like grains of sand

You cannot cry
Your soul has already died
You don’t feel pain
You don’t have a name

You take the all blame
As you look away in shame
Loneliness has sweep over you
Having friends was something you never knew

You can’t be weak
You gotta be strong
You don’t know if you can hold on
Before the world slips through you hand
Just like grains of sand

So break away that wall
Before your fall
Take away that mask
All you have to do is ask

The world’s moving on
You tell yourself you don’t belong
But I’m still here
You’re not as bad as you appear

This poem is about me, isn't it? (Not literally of course, but it does speak of me in certain ways.) Good job for a universal feel.
