Not Forgotten - Poem by Abimael Roque

empty inside, dust filled and hollow
wondering if we will remember them when we
awake from a deep sleep years from now, but
a dream, a memory brings them back to life
within our hearts or soul. we do small things
even buy or find tokens of them to keep them
alive, for they will never be gone, and on a
cold day or night their wake will warm us and
remind us that they were and always will be a
great part of our hearts and life, until we
meet them again... this time forever
