Not In Race Poem by Mehta Hasmukh Amathaal

Not In Race

I feel sad today
As did not find her full day
Whole day I toiled
But did not miss her and smiled

I am back home
To see her and welcome
Oh it is full moon night
She is there alright

But what happens to me?
I can not see her free
Her face has turned dark
How to express and start?

How long will she stay like this?
How long shall I miss?
I can not take my eyes off
I expect her to appear and laugh

My eyes are closing
And supposing
With her beautiful face
I love her but not in race
