Not That Kind Of Love Poem by Rodgers Ogola

Not That Kind Of Love

She tells me dear
Let this be clear
There's no love
If you do not 'have'
But I respond
With equal measure
I ain't no pond
And my water, treasure
Cause I ain't for that kind of lovin'
Where I give to receive
Not an emotional exchange
But more of a business transaction
Cause when she demands this and that for love
She isn't far from being a floozy
So I tell her dear
Let this be clear
I ain't no bank
And you the client
