Forget Poem by Rodgers Ogola

Forget

Forget about the hugs and the kisses
Forget about our wild unending passion
Forget that I thought it'd last forever
Forget that I'm crying right now
You made a promise that you broke
My heart is aching from the words you spoke
Liar! Liar! Hush your words
You are asking for forgiveness
That I will not give
For the heart is a fragile thing
Once broken fixing it is hopeless
Forget I told that you are the one
Forget that I fell in so deep
But remember what you shouldn't forget
I let you in, that's my regret
