Not That Long Ago
Not so long ago, I wandered aimlessly
Nothing seemed to stop, and time flew by
Everywhere I looked, the days passed painlessly
And no-one felt the need to sit and cry
And while the world seems endlessly in lockdown
To keep things in perspective, we must hope
That soon we will be told we have a countdown
To a time that all of us can smile and cope
