Not The Sinner Poem by Randy McClave

Not The Sinner

Jesus hates the sin and not the sinner
He loves the loser as much as he loves the winner,
He loves the poor and also the wealthy
Even the greedy and the stealthy.
Jesus loves those of different beliefs and religions
Don't he feed us, like we feed the pigeons,
Don't he also love the confused and the lost
For them also didn't he die on the cross.
Jesus loves those who are strait and are also gay
Unto the Lord don't they also pray,
He loves the foreigners and the immigrants as well
As the Holy Bible does honestly tell.
Jesus loves the liar and the cheater and the thief
And the murderer, the rapist and anyone who brings grief,
Sell what you have and give it to the poor
You will have treasure in heaven forever more.
Jesus love's those whose color isn't the same as his was
No matter if we are black, red, yellow or white us he does love
Are we all not created in God's image
Are we all not part of his lineage.
Don't we love our own children no matter the price
Are we not the beloved children of Jesus Christ,
Whether your life is full of harmony or even bedlam
Remember, Jesus asks us all to just follow him.
