I may be young.
And immature.
But Im not too young.
Too love

I can feel the sting.
Of a broken heart.
And the rejection
in your voice.

My age group may be foolish.
But isnt that stereotyping.
Dont people say.
That its never too young too love?

I may not be old enough.
To really understand.
But just because I dont know.
Doesnt mean its not real.

Because my heart is broken.
A boy ripped it apart.
Time has healed the wounds.
but still the scars remain.

And love has found me once again.
But this time I wont be broken.
I wont be left ashamed.
This time Im not going to be too late.

Your not going to be a dream.
Or a wish that never came true.
Im going to make this happen.
No matter what you say.

Because Im not too young.
Theres no limit to this.
Its an emotion a feeling.
So hard to understand.

Theres still time left.
But I wont wait forever.
It doesnt come with an expiration date.
I dont want it to pass me by.
