Nothing But Illusions. - Poem by Sama AlNaber

She lived in his heart but not in his world
She controlled his mind but not his soul
She was like the wind,
Refreshing but it might make you get sick
Like a wind you can feel it but you can't see it!

She was his all, everything he ever dreamt to have but she was an illusion!
Another illusion, another dream that couldn't become true!

She broke his heart but yet was it his fault or his heart fault!
Does holding on to a lie counts as holding on or counts that you were to stupid That you couldn't see the truth!

When everything he ever wanted is crumbling down as an old man!
When everything he ever wished for… everything he needed and everything he wanted was being buried deep inside his soul with no presence

That inner struggle that doesn't seem to find it's end!
That inner struggle between what's right by his heart's decision which is wrong by his mind's thought!
His heart that was whispering her name, his mind that was only thinking of her,
his eyes that looked forward to see her every night in the dream!
Because dreams were the only place they would meet
The Only place where he can reach his Illusion.
She was the moon on his sky that shined his night so bright
but he stood up and starts believing that we only can see the stars when it's too dark
