When you was nothing
I was your favorite
Now that you are something
I´m the nothing to you
Was it all a lie?
she told and he answered
But now you are nothing more
than something
but you are not the something
I wanted when I start to know you
But now - without that something
that was like a thing for me
I could see and touch your soul
right in the middle of nothing
and feel how you are
he said and she answered
And now without all that something
around all that nothing
we filled in - now - I really can see
how your soul rises
inside the gleaming sun
up to the highest places
and I never wish again
to have something in my hands
Everything can hurt
and destroy so easily
he regrets and she replied
I´ll find a way to be something
without being a thing for you
A nothing compared with things
but a greater thing in being
We are two nothings of the same kind
he smiled and probably we have
to start again with something new
But on a higher level she sneers
and feels inspired by something
We can´t compare our nothings
with a thing to explain our lives
and nothing is fulfilled by itself
but there is a something
hold us sheltering in the nothing.
