Nothing Is Permanent Poem by Sankhajit Bhattacharjee

Nothing Is Permanent

Rating: 5.0

This world is ever changing,
nothing is permanent here-
the peace of Eden,
the victory of Napoleon,
the socialism of Russia,
the imperialism of Lords,
the spirituality of Indian peninsula,
the calmness of Japan's volcanoes,
the love of American wives...
When Miss World will grow old
she will not be beautiful as she is looking today.
Ever changing is human nature
as the vast nature has changed her emotions
from the first sun rise to this ultramodern era.

The word ‘permanent' only exists in Oxford dictionary-
outside that this word has no real existence.
Though the word ‘temporary' challenges the long lasting time,
in reality it does last long.

Life means change, change means life-
where there is life, there is change;
where there is change, there is life.
