Nothing Secret - Poem by Hasmukh Amathalal

Nothing secret
Wednesday,19th September 2018

I use simple words
and look forward
for love to grow
and show

you might be dark complexioned
and not dressed
like others
but you are exceptionally better than others

let people say anything
but i have found out something
that is rare in somebody
you are like rose to me

I found simplicity
and liked already
I didn't regret your poverty
as you were of fine natural beauty

color may fade
the body shall be dead
but I have read
in you not a single percent of the trade

you said what you were
and that too without fear
you kept nothing as secret
and make it open or let
