November is cool, light and fresh,
a welcome song to a winter long.
November has festive mood,
poinsettias and bougainvillea bloom
in the valley of Kathmandu.
Almonds and raisins, cinnamon and cocoa
November air carries mouth watering aroma.
The air filled with scent of baked good,
November in Kathmandu is a sweet tease.
The white mountains are visible,
in morning, at noon, just before evening twilight.
A charming month, thirty days long
November promises a winter rebirth.
