Forgotten in November's cold,
A living sunbeam, bright and bold,
Will whisper tales of me untold,
In clouds' ragged shroud, stories unfold.
With crane cries, a vanishing song,
Into the vast, forever gone,
Above fields' darkness, I belong,
A star emerged, a fate foregone.
Longing for home, my heart's decree,
Yearning to be close to thee,
Under Moon's embrace, love's key,
Night's bath for us, a celestial spree.
Dawn's brilliance, a sunlit array,
A diamond day, in its golden sway,
Above planets, the best display,
Where I discovered you, my destined bay.
Yet, in spring, I'm lost, submerged,
Drowning sorrows, love diverged,
Aching, drinking, memories surged,
In paradise earned, your absence urged.
ONE: very professional poem, sometimes a bit heavy-handed, but in a beautiful lyrical tone and very poetically expressed enclosed and sent in an envelope from the east
