Now He's Mine Poem by Joyce Hemsley

Now He's Mine

Written ten years ago:

He was so dear, I wanted him near,
just leave the crowd ~ shout it aloud.
We are as one; God's work is done.
Our lives will be roses and wine
all the time...
We are in love, and fit like a glove,
ne'er to forget the hour we first met.
I love him so, and my soul is aglow
Way high on cloud nine
now he's mine...
Skies are not grey on our wedding day
bells they chime ~ O happy springtime.
Romance for two at last coming true
Glad hearts will entwine
how sublime...
Oh can't you see, we'll cruise on the sea
'neath the stars and a glistening moon.
I'll feel divine; my blue eyes will shine
And life will be roses and wine
now he's mine.
