Point blank, I can't run from it;
Glaring at my face each day,
The reality that I have matured,
Though within I still feel a child.
Things that I once took lightly
Like marriage or an occupation
Take a new meaning
And are more weighty to a degree
Responsibility in life
Becomes a part of me gradually
I feel more mature and new
It is all so nice a trend
Beautifully this phase is woven
Like the skilled art of a weaver
Into my being and here it is
I am adult.
