Now I Found Poem by Shavon Harrington

Now I Found

oh yeah
while I'm sitting here thinking about myself and all the times when I was running around silent without a sound

I hid my voice at the end of the day from the crowd, and times, times when I distance myself from loud now that I made it out now, now that

I found myself again at the end of the day I have found myself because when
I was down and out I put everything before myself

including other people's worth, every time I think about how far I come close enough to destroying my soul

because I was once lost oh yeah now that I have found myself again because I was once lost now that I have found myself, yeah I'm

winning now I prayed and I found myself cause God heard my sound, my sound, I prayed, I prayed and God heard my sound

yeah I prayed and God heard the sound I use to be the one putting other people first instead, I ignored

myself while I was losing myself inside and out I felt like I didn't know myself I was once

lost but now that I found myself, again and again thinking about all the times when I left myself out because I didn't

feel comfortable enough to include me in the mist I lost myself cause I was
once lost yeah now that I have found

myself again because I was once lost now that I have found myself yeah I'm winning now I prayed and I found myself because God heard my sound

(Gospel Rap)

I was just a step away from failing
now the search is over for me that I found myself again feeling right moving right outta sight when the mood is right walking around feeling and looking bad because I was once lost myself but now I found myself again feeding myself empty promises I was once lost but now I found myself again that I did found my I prayed and God heard my sound I was once lost now that I do found myself I'm winning now I prayed and God heard sound now I found my sound because I'm didn't believe in myself I was once lost but now I found my sound
yes I'm winning now God heard my prayer and I found my sound again

At the end of the day, I found my sound
