Now I Walk Alone Poem by Ronald Chapman

Now I Walk Alone

Now I Walk Alone

We walked a cherry blossom covered path to our future,
Now I walk alone in dreams, the road to our past,

It's too late for me,
No longer can I travel home,

I walked with you along the path of life,
For only a short time my love,

Before dark clouds covered the sunshine in my life,
Covered always in dark clouds, raining tears,
Never looking forward, missing our past,

We never said farewell,
It's beyond my control,
To turn back time to say I love you for one last time.
