Now Night In His Palace Stands - Poem by Emmanuel George Cefai

Now Night in his palace stands
As on a throne embraced by the clouds
Now the dusk red
Turns to increasing dark and black:
And day changes its skin to dark
Come dark that I
May to my black queen yet again
And Night will envelope
Our love again.
