Now onlNow only memory

You were stout figure
my father
restless but powerful driver
to usher us in this world
your presence was a great asset
and that let us
stand against any odd
you always added a feather
sudden demise
made us a surprise
How can God be so cruel?
we feel so bad
no one could blame you
or your name
you were straight forward
and made position known through a powerful word
I was so close
and posed many times
now, I shall miss you forever
with unknown fears in mind
your memory
may make us feel sorry
adding woes and worries
to bear it and carry
we all know
and go
by the simple faith
but we have lost a guide and teach in your death
