Now That You Are Mine Poem by Gert Strydom

Now That You Are Mine

Now that you are mine
I taste the sweetness
of your kisses,
while the hot water
of the shower
rushes past our wet bodies.

Now that you are mine
your eyes speak with meaning
and while we are among
other people,
just you and I
can decipher what they really say.

Now that you are mine
no other girl can entice me
and you have become
the most beautiful
of women to me.
