Now The Day Is Over. Poem by Olabode Adewumi

Now The Day Is Over.

Rating: 5.0

Now the day is over
rainy non-stop rushing,
gossip, jesting and shouting filled the hall,
even the most serious students can't expel,
We got it all; says the players.
Do we really prepare to learn?
Lecturer hasn't come; gussed delightfully-delighted,
Inside outside my canal I got excited,
Why I'mnot at home; singing and dancing
This reminds me when I was young,
back in the hoot where fun lies,
naked-dirty still happy,
thou old memory I said;
Now the day is over.
