called Hammy
(‘cos he’s such
a bad actor)
tut tuts
as I smoke
yet another
cigarette
& watch
the silent telephone
as if it were
the latest blockbuster.
I & he
both
going ‘round & ‘round
on an endless
wheel
of expectation
& frustration
that gets us
...nowhere bloody nowhere.
