In today's world
The flesh is being anesthetized
The spirit has long been in a coma
The mind is being manipulated
To abandon the body
And enter the realm of virtual reality
It's selfishness that is driving this kind of technology
It's not driven by altruism
Nor is it driven by the forces of Love
Children are held hostage
Early in their developmental milestones
Hooked to the latest video games
Incapacitated by the venom of technology
It's true technology has brought many exciting opportunities
And made life's heart beat vibrant
I am not against technology
I am against the invasion of the human psyche
I am against unnecessary violence
Planted in young children's minds
I am against the propagation of a virtual culture
It's not for the benefit of our collective consciousness
To undress the mind
And inject a million litres of junk
In the name of entertainment
It's time to wake up the spirit
And fight for our spiritual rights
It's only through Love
That we can raise our children
To be better human beings
It's totally unnecessary
To offload our responsibilities
Onto the hands of technology
Life is an opportunity
For us to develop our body, mind and spirit
And reach the higher level of consciousness
It's only through the stillness of the spirit
That we can see the truth
