its sad when you're numb
numb to a feeling
its sad its just the motion
with no passion or emotion
where is the desire?
the one that would sparkle inside my eyes
the need is there
but the lust is gone
why have i belittled myself
into believing
that i am something less
maybe i am more than that
but it's all i know
it seems its what i need
or maybe
its taken over me
until it becomes
all of who i am
