Nursing - Poem by James McLain

I can’t remember
the last time my husband,
didn’t sleep through the night.
I can’t remember
the last time I was not engorged,
the last time I leaked.
the last time he peaked.
I can’t remember
the last time he helped me out.
I, 'unlike he was nursing.
